Coring

During this service, Bravo’s Hydro-Excavators power the coring bit and cuttings are vacuumed up, while the water handgun rinses the street and/or sidewalk. Next, the utilities are exposed, verified, and/or repaired. Once the hole is back filled, the core is reinserted, and the service is completed. Bravo’s coring equipment is an efficient and clean way of cutting asphalt and/or concrete. We can perform Coring and Hydro-Excavating with the same crew, meaning you save both time and money. Once the job is done, the coring hole is easily patched by our crew and the site stays clean.

Inquire About Our Services

One of the most popular types of coring is concrete coring. This type of coring works by creating circular cuts in slabs and walls of concrete, which are used in various ways in construction and infrastructure maintenance. Precise cuts must be made to create openings in the concrete slabs for various services, including fiber-optic cables and other utilities. One important aspect of concrete coring that Bravo puts a focus on is limiting vibrations from the equipment, to limit the disruptions to the surrounding infrastructure and people.
